extends Enum<GenerationState>

Generation state of an AiMessageList as a whole.

• IDLE — no active generation; all messages are complete.
• GENERATING — a response is being produced; the last assistant message is the active (generating) one.
• ERROR — the last generation failed; the list shows the error banner with a retry action.
