public enum StandardOutcome
extends Enum<StandardOutcome>

A possible outcome of views extending StandardDetailView and StandardListView.

Constants of this enum can be used instead of CloseAction instances in View.close(StandardOutcome) method to initiate closing and in View.AfterCloseEvent.closedWith(StandardOutcome). method to determine how the view was closed.

CLOSE

The view is closed without an explicit save. However, the view notifies the user if there are unsaved changes.

SAVE

public static final StandardOutcome SAVE

The view is closed after an explicit save. If the view still contains unsaved changes, the user is notified about it.

DISCARD

public static final StandardOutcome DISCARD

The view is closed without an explicit save and it did not notify the user about unsaved changes.

SELECT

public static final StandardOutcome SELECT

The view is closed after the user selected an item in the lookup component.
