Returns the root entity passed to the store for saving.

getSavedEntity

public Object getSavedEntity()

Returns the entity read from the response of the remote service. The store's save operation returns this instance. See RestDataStoreExtension.afterSave(AfterSaveContext) for the instance that the caller of DataManager receives.

isNew

public boolean isNew()

Returns true if the entity was created, false if it was updated.

getSavedEntityJson

public tools.jackson.databind.JsonNode getSavedEntityJson()

Returns the JSON object returned by the remote service. Changing it has no effect.
