Resolves recipients for a notification definition.

Parameters:

definition - notification definition

scope - the variable scope (execution or task) used to evaluate expressions

task - the task in scope, or null for a service task; required for assignee/candidate recipient types

Returns:

distinct recipients; empty if none resolve
